Round and Round we go....

I'm a big fan of projects that work up quickly. I really like it when I can use one or two skeins of yarn, and not have a lot left over. Any pattern that can be easily adapted to fit my style, is A-OK in my book! This scarf has all of those qualities! You're going to love it! It can be whipped up in just a couple hours. You can leave the ends open, add some tassels, or sew it up like I did. If you use a different yarn with more yardage, you can add to the length as well! The sky's the limit! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Crochet Love, Lisa

Materials Used:

Big Twist Natural Blend super bulky Yardage: 196

15.00mm crochet hook A regular crochet hook will work for this pattern. The 15.00 mm hook is long enough to carry the stitches.

Yarn needle.

Stitches Used:

CH: Chain TDS: Tunisian Double Stitch Directions for working in top loop: Rather than working the double stitch into the vertical bar, you will yarn over, insert hook through the top loop (bump), and pull loop up.

Notes:

Stitch count is made at end of forward pass. Count loops on hook. Use looser tension on return pass, or the top loop will be difficult to work into on the forward pass. The beginning stitch of the forward pass is directly above the 1st TDS of the last row (not the beginning CH of previous row). One row includes both the forward and return pass.

Gauge:

7 stitches and 2 rows = 4”

End Measurements:

7” wide and approximately 98-100” in length (prior to sewing ends together).

Instructions:

Foundation Row:

Chain 13, and starting in 3rd chain from hook, TDS in next 11 top bumps of the chain. CH 1, make return pass. (12)

Row 2: CH 2, TDS in next 11 top bums of the previous row. CH 1, make return pass. (12) Rows 3-53: Repeat row 2.

Row 54: CH 1, SL ST in top bump of each ST across. Fasten off, and leave long tail to sew ends together using a blanket stitch. Weave in all ends.
