When the big leaf maples start to loose their leaves, it's officially scarf weather here in Oregon. I wanted to make up something using the one skein of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick in Spice that I had in my stash. I thought a bandana would be fun! This bandana worked up in one afternoon! I love fast one skein projects. They're my jam!
Here's the Big Leaf Maple Bandana with three different bind off options!
Enjoy!! Lisa
Materials:
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick 106 yds
Hook: 10.00 mm Tunisian hook
Yarn needle
Accent button at least 2” in diameter
Gauge:
9 STS and 7 Rows = 4”
Notes:
Stitches are counted at the end of the forward pass, counting loops on hook.
Stitches at the outside edge are picked up through both loops
There are three different bind off stitch options for this pattern. SC, HDC, and DC. Using the SC will require blocking because of edge curl. HDC, and DC should not require blocking. Note the color coded stitches for the last row of the pattern.
